Aspen Carbon Cat completes level flotation and stability testing to meet USCG requirements

In order to meet USCG requirements Aspen used a test tank to complete testing and certification of flotation and stability for their new Carbon Cat tenders. The Carbon Cats were filled with water, loaded with centrally located weights to ensure they stayed afloat even when swamped and loaded. They also placed weights to one side and tested stability with offset loading. The Carbon Cats performed admirably in these tests showcasing the inherent stability of the design and its ability to stay afloat even under extreme conditions using the standard built in buoyancy that each boat comes with.
